Burger anyone?

This time round...a request by Lela's family AGAIN....(my novelty cake is making an impact to her family ;)...)..to design a cake for her SIL who loves food soooo much..at first, they requested to do a cake with the theme of 7-11....but then they let me to decide...so I decided to do a burger cake...

Bun burger...butter cake...daging burger...choc moist...garnish...fondant....chilli sauce...piping gel...all in all this was an easy cake...garnishnya...lettuce, cheese, onions, tomatoes....fries....and the sesame seed...fondant too...

But kali ni..i guna technique baru..steam buttercream....thankyou very much to my best friend Elaine...it was an instant lesson...and it was so easy to make the steam buttercream..but don't let the name fools u...i'm sure some of you are asking what is steam buttercream? Do we really have to steam the cream? The answer..no steamer was involved...All what u hv to do is to put the required amount of buttercream that you need in a plastic container ...do not use metal bowl, coz the heat will be too hot for the cream and it will be oily...use double boil technique...and stir the cream until everything has melt...then straight away pour the melted cream onto the cake...as for the color..since this was my first time using this technique...i added the color before the melting process...and when it melted..the color change darker...so next time, I will add the color later...i guess, after this i'm gonna use this technique...less messy..less hassle..he..he...he...to Elaine...thank you so much dear...I guess I've to practice a lot...coz it was supposed to be like fondant covered..
